Pop on over to Nirvana

Just in case you haven’t seen my “other blog” here is the address to Nirvana. I have more posts there so if you don’t have me bookmarked now is a good time. I have a bit of a mix going on the Nirvana blog, generally what’s going on in my life, what I am doing and where I am going and most of all if there is important info I usually post it. Recently I have posted a tutorial on making spools, so scroll down and take a look if you haven’t seen it.

Do come back and check out this blog from time to time as I will be posting here as well.

New Products will be available soon!

I have just loaded the 50+ new products in the store and you will be able to view them very soon! I hope you like the new 6 x 6 papers, the many new chipboard products and 4 different transparencies. I have been working hard the last 4 months to bring together this range that really goes together. I have added some new word ranges and some letter ones that are very inexpensive along with the ne “Elegant Labels” that are sure to be a hit. Two of the new chipboard items are 3D and are simple to put together and will bring a new dimension to your projects. There are some very arty printed butterflies to cut up and add dimensional glaze or just leave them matt with the wings folded up for a lovely effect. There is something for the “haberdashery girl”, something just for fun! Hope you like the new Collections Elements….available on Tuesday 4th May 2010!

Along with all of the new product lots of wonderul new techniques and ideas to use the new Collections Elements!

Hello world!

Welcome everyone to Collections Elements Blog. I will be posting here lots of things like what is new, lots of tips and tricks and hopefully a few videos!
You must be thinking, its about time Julie got a site and you are so right! I think I am that kind of a person that needs a push and a shove in the general direction. This company blog is going to be light hearted and not a formal one but one of sharing and hopefully many posts to come. So I welcome you and your future comments.

Right now I am working hard on putting together many, many new products for my next release for SIA Trade show in Sydney in early May. I do hope you are going and are able to join in the fun at the booth with Audrey Underwood and her wonderful make and takes. We will also be making available some show bags of new product (like last year) and I bring a limited number so stop by the booth early!

Don’t forget to bring lots of business cards as we usually only give out printed catalogues to those with cards. Also when placing an order you only need to attach your card to the order form, saves lots of time writing in all the details.

Well enjoy the site and don’t forget the gallery! And for non retailers, you may browse the site but you will be unable to place an order or view prices as this is a wholesale site, but you are most welcome to look around!

Stay tuned for some product releases over the next 2 months. I will still be keeping my blog Nirvana so keep a link to that saved.

New, coming soon - Flat Spools
New, coming soon – Flat Spools

In the meantime here¬†is a preview just to keep you going, ready for release in early May, Flat Spools, nice for keeping tidy your left over bits of ribbon or braid. Fabulous for making up a gift of ribbon to send to a dear friend. Very cool to use to wrap ribbon or braid when presenting in kits (for all the kit designers of the world) “WHO KNEW?”

Be organised and attach a split ring and sort your selection by colour theme, hang them around your work area/studio for inspiration. At SIA look out for other ways we will present the “Collections Flat Spools” to you.
Until my next post (hopefully soon) thank you for visiting my site and don’t forget to save a link to this blog.
